Professional info
Helen Oishi is an artist living between continents and hemispheres. Dividing her time between the Isle of Wight, UK, Canterbury, NZ and a variety of locations in Japan she draws her inspiration from these different cultures and environments.
Graduating from Norwich School of Art and Design in 2002 specialising in printmaking; Then Canterbury Christchurch University College in 2006. She taught at secondary level (high school) alongside her making until 2014.
since then, she has been on the move.
